Reading Tails

Jan 18, 2019 to Feb 8, 2019  |  Friday's from 4:00 - 6:00 PM

Children

Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances Reading Tails is cancelled until further notice.

Reading Tails is a four week program for children 6 to 12 years old who would like to practice their reading skills. Children who struggle to read aloud are matched with a child certified therapy dog and handler. This program is designed to not only improve reading ability, but also to increase a child's confidence, communication, and social skills!

Each child registered will be scheduled for a 20 minute session for four consecutive weeks. Each week they will be asked to read to their canine reading buddy for 15 minutes.

Registration is now open. Space is limited, and preregistration is required. Once registration is full, you can request for your child to be added to our wait-list for upcoming sessions.
