A library card entitles you to borrow books, DVDs, music and more, and gives you access to eBooks and eAudiobooks. Annual library card fees are as follows:

• Family: $15
• Individual: $10
• Student: $7.50
• Senior: $7.50

 

The Alberta Library (TAL) Card
Your PRL library card is also a TAL card, which you can use to borrow materials from over 240 participating TAL card libraries throughout the province. Note that the types of items each library will lend to TAL patrons, as well as fines and loan periods, vary by library. Ask the library staff for more information! Items can be returned to any participating Alberta library, and will be forwarded to their home libraries at no charge.
